Elaine includes a full article-based content management system for creating messages. Framework templates define the controlled technical and visual frame, while reusable articles supply the content. Together, they allow teams to build messages ranging from a simple single-content layout to deeply structured and personalized compositions.
Framework templates and articles
- Framework templates establish the channel-specific document structure, branding, editable regions, technical defaults, and permitted content patterns.
- Articles are reusable content units such as a hero, product block, editorial section, call to action, or footer component.
- Composing areas and widgets expose controlled choices to editors and determine where articles or nested structures can be placed.
Articles can contain additional structured elements and can be combined or nested to the depth required by the implemented content model. This supports messages of arbitrary complexity while keeping technical rules and brand requirements in the template layer.
From content model to message
- Template engineers define the framework, editable properties, composing areas, article types, responsive behavior, and fallbacks.
- Content teams select the framework template intended for the desired channel.
- Editors add, arrange, and configure articles to create the message.
- Contact data, conditions, business rules, and variants can select or adapt content at personalization time.
- Teams preview, analyze, test, approve, and release the resulting message through the configured workflow.
Governance and reuse
The article-based model separates reusable content and editor choices from the technical frame. Organizations can therefore centralize branding and compliance elements, reuse approved modules, limit risky editing options, and still support sophisticated message structures. The appropriate degree of flexibility is defined by each template implementation.
