What is Elaine?

Next

Elaine is a customer engagement platform for personalized, automated communication. It combines governed customer and context data with content, campaign logic, delivery, and analytics so organizations can decide and deliver a relevant next interaction for each contact—even across audiences of millions.

How personalization works

Elaine brings profile and CRM data together with transactions, behavior, context, consent, product information, content, recommendations, and signals from connected web and app touchpoints. Conditions, Business Rules, automations, APIs, and AI assistance turn this information into recipient-level decisions in real time.

High-performance processing applies these individual decisions not only to isolated interactions but also to campaigns and event streams involving millions of contacts. Privacy Admission Control, tenant and permission separation, consent-aware workflows, and privacy-by-design defaults help organizations implement this hyperpersonalization in a governed and privacy-compliant manner.

Elaine.io is the next major generation of Elaine—built for the AI era to make this work more efficient through the Smart Workspace, AIDO Copilot, and collaboration with internal and external AI agents.

What is new in Elaine.io

Elaine.io centers everyday work on the Smart Workspace, a role-based cockpit that users can configure for their own responsibilities. It brings core actions, current tasks, and relevant statuses together so users can work without navigating through deep menu structures.

The AIDO Copilot is the AI assistant within Elaine.io and establishes human-AI co-creation as a new way of working. Its scope expands from analysis and condition building toward interaction with customer data and AI-augmented message and automation workflows. Capabilities that are not yet generally available are identified as roadmap items in this documentation.

Elaine.io is also designed to collaborate with internal and external AI agents through agent-facing APIs and protocols such as MCP. This enables specialized agents to contribute within connected marketing workflows while Elaine.io provides the operational context, governance, and activation layer.

How Elaine fits into a marketing technology stack

Elaine can exchange data and events with CRM, ERP, content, analytics, and other customer-facing systems. Standard interfaces, APIs, and configurable integration patterns allow Elaine to act as an engagement and activation component within a wider marketing technology environment.

Elaine also forms part of the Entirely ecosystem and can be used in joint scenarios with Censhare, Facelift, MARMIND, and epoq.
